đŹď¸ When God Summons You (A Raw Thought)

Sometimes Iâll be sitting with a thought, and before I even realize it, God is showing me something deeper behind it. And today it hit me:
we are spiritual beings, and only spirit can call spirit.

Our flesh canât summon anything spiritual â it doesnât even have the capacity.
But our spirit does.
And then I said to myself, âIf we can summon things spiritually, then God â who is Spirit â can summon us too.â
And when that clicked⌠whew.
I had to sit with it.
We always talk about âGod calling us,â or âGod drawing us,â but I never used the word summon until today. And suddenly it made so much sense. Because He does summon us â not in a scary way, but in a spiritual way. A pull. A tug. A shift. A âcome here, I need youâ moment.
And the crazy part?
He can only summon you like that because His Spirit is already inside you.
You had to open that door.
You had to welcome Him.
Just like people open doors to the wrong spirits without realizing itâŚ
you intentionally open your door to the right One.
Once His Spirit is inside you, He has access.
He can reach you at any time â when He needs to speak, guide, correct, move you, or place you somewhere spiritually you werenât before.
Thatâs when my brain went to something else completely random but connected â the way TV shows and movies portray people being summoned into different worlds or realms. Every time a character gets pulled somewhere, they donât lose themselves. They still know who they are. Their personality is still there. Their memories come with them. Their identity follows them.
All that changes is the realm around them.
And then I realized⌠thatâs how God does us.
When He summons you into a new spiritual realm â a new level, season, insight, or assignment â
you still come as you.
Your identity follows you.
Your experiences, your mindset, your traits, your story â all of that enters the next realm with you.
Because it was never about becoming someone else.
It was about stepping into somewhere else.
And sometimes God summons you quietly.
Sometimes suddenly.
Sometimes He shifts the atmosphere so fast you donât even recognize the season yet.
Sometimes He pulls you higher while youâre still trying to figure out last weekâs lesson.
But thatâs how God works.
Spirit-to-spirit.
And all He needs is an open door.
If this hit you, let me know.
I can keep sharing the things God reveals to me â whether itâs something I journaled, something He whispered to me, or something He showed me in a random thought like this one.
Just ask. Iâll write it.
Yours truly, peace đď¸âŁď¸
