“I don’t have time for that, I’m too busy trying to get my life together with the Lord”

Busy or Distracted?

In a day and age where how busy you are measures the quality of your lifestyle, I would say being less busy is absolutely better than being more busy. People believe that being more busy means that your life is less boring or others just can’t keep up with you—when really, you’re just distracted. Many people don’t think about what happens after lights out. And I’m not talking about bedtime. I’m talking about eternal slumber—you know, like, when you die? It’s not a thought that comes across many people’s minds. There is a large chunk of individuals who don’t even care what happens to them when they die. Well, folks, I’m here to tell you, that is not wise.

It’s Not Wise

Think about it—you were born into the world. No purpose? No reason? Of course not! You were placed here intentionally and for a reason. But who placed you here? That’s an easy answer—The Creator! The Creator of Earth placed you here. But not only is He the creator of Earth, but also of Heaven, and even Sheol (or what most people refer to it as, Hell). But why is it not wise to not think about that stuff? Well, that circles back to because The Creator placed us here for a reason. And that reason is to acknowledge and submit to Him. Well, how do we do that? This is actually quite simple, beloved. Just talk to Him (the appropriate term would be to Pray). The Creator is all around. If He created everything, He must also be in everything, right? It’s called being omnipresent. It’s one of His very best qualities! And guess what, He even responds! Some ways He communicates with people is by a sense of a gentle voice behind their ear, perception of creation and your environment, or even through experiences with other people. When you talk to the Creator and build a true relationship with Him, you will be able to hear His and perceive Him when He speaks to you. It’s quite a beautiful thing He desires from His creation.

My Point

Building a relationship with the Creator is the best relationship you can ever do. Because the Creator knows His creations, that means He knows us too. In fact, He knows us better than we know ourselves—inwardly and outwardly. He knows the things that nobody knows—the things that secretly make us warm on the inside, but also the things we try to bury and hide. The benefits of the Creator are that we can trust Him with our hearts, our minds, our souls, and definitely our spirits. He helps us mold our behaviors, create new habits, and build meaningful relationships. So yes, I am busy with the Lord (the Creator). He is what, where, and who I should be spending my time with, hands down!

About Me

IMG_0875_edited.jpg

I write this way because I understand what people really need:

  • something quick, but meaningful

  • something spiritual, but not overwhelming

  • something deep, but not complicated

  • something that speaks truth without speaking down

  • something you can read in 2–5 minutes that shifts your mindset

Most people don’t want heavy theology. They want clarity, comfort, wisdom, and guidance they can actually use.

My writing is:

  • clear

  • moral

  • transparent

  • spiritual

  • humble

And because of that, people feel guided instead of judged, and fed instead of overwhelmed.
